Nature’s beauty and bounty comes in many forms. Artist and author Will Holsinger combines feathers, driftwood, crystals, and found materials to create an esthetic to fill the nooks and crannies of our personal spaces with reminders of these miracles. Much of his work involves wrapping feathers with leather and adding a carefully selected crystal. Each piece is unique.

Will grew up in rural West Marin in the 60s at a time when the world was simple, gentle and welcoming to a curious heart. With few exceptions, the found driftwood and shell bits he uses in his creations come from the Pacific coastline from Marin to Monterey. The feathers are all legally sourced and the crystals come from around the world.

Found Things A found thing, or object, is a natural or man-made object, or fragment of an object, that is found (sometimes bought) by an artist and re-purposed in a new and different way because of some intrinsic interest the artist sees in it. |
Will Holsinger is also the author of A Life Well Lived, A Death Well Met, a book of poetry and prose on aging, death and dying. He will also be available to sign his book.
